Biblia Pauperum

Ongoing, 2026–

Biblia Pauperum is an ongoing cycle of figurative paintings that uses the visual language of historical European painting to examine contemporary experience through mythology, religion, philosophy and symbolic narrative. Human figures, animals and inherited cultural symbols appear in allegorical situations concerned with belief, mortality, nature, technology, reason and instinct. The works are conceived as a connected body rather than isolated images, allowing symbols and questions to recur and transform across the series.
